Linking MPE with Amazon's Alexa devices

Has anyone successfully linked MPE to Amazon's Alexa (either an actual device, such as an Echo, or to the app)?
What I'm looking for is a simple connection so that if I ask my Echo device "Alexa, what's on my calendar for this Thursday?" it can be linked to look at my MPE calendar (which is also linked to/shared with my Outlook calendar) and tell me what's coming up, or set up reminders to say "you have an appointment at 10 am this morning" without me having to stop and look it up either on the phone app or desktop computer. This happens a lot during our dinnertime, when someone says hey, there's this or that going on next Tuesday, are we busy? It would be much easier to just ask the Alexa device sitting there what's on the calendar for that date.
I know there is such a thing as IFTTT, but have no clue how to set it up or use it, hence looking for a "SIMPLE" way to link them. LOL
