Hello again,


When a new text message is received, the message "New messages, Read now? [Yes/No]" appears on the phone screen. And it does not disappear even if text messages have already been downloaded and deleted! The solution to this problem might be to simulate pressing NO button in the phone keypad.

In Inbox window it is sometimes impossible to delete text messages with Delete key.(Highlight the message to be deleted, press Delete key, and reject to remove it. Then highlight it again. Press Delete key and it may turn out that the key is not active.)


When "refresh message folders" on startup is set and new text messages are downloaded from a phone to my computer, the MPE does not show that they have been received. It should display an envelope-icon in tray and beep (just like when we receive a text message while the programme is running). The best choice is to take Outlook Express as a model. Morover, new unread text messages in Inbox should be displayed in a different way, for instance, they can be marked with a relevant icon or bold letters.

Whish: "No display MPE in Taskbar" (= only in Tray) option.

which phone do you have and which OS? XP SP2? or Vista? Or something else?

1) Simulating a keyboerd-press makes problems. Not every phone has the same keys and not verey models show the options on the same place

2) I'll take a look at it

3) I think there is no need for this

4) already possible (there is a button besides the minimize-botton in the window-frame.

No. When main window is on the desktop, the MPE button is steel on the taskbar. And "No display MPE in Taskbar" = only in Tray even when the main window is on the desktop.

Sorry, i cannot find a sense in this wish. Every program can be found in the taskbar if its shown. This is common in windows. Why sould i work against common standards ?

Yes - i think so. Cause basicly i want to keep MyPhoneExplorer "straight forward". Important features OK - they are needed but the rest blows up the interface. I know not every user and also not every developer has the same opinion, but this is my concept.

Common standarts?.. Many (resident) aplications have another standard..

We can discuss this for the next ten Threads, but i still no understand your arguments against the taskbar. Its the sense of the Taskbar that you can access a window if its opened. And it IS a standard - which Applications doesn't show their window in the taskbar (and please tell me not about some tiny tools or anything).

I have a request if you can implement it FJ; seeing that I tend to use both USB cable and Bluetooth connectivity in certain environments, I was hoping the phone profiles keep a connection cache of recent connections to MPE so that I wouldn't have to search for the device everytime I change from USB connectivity to Bluetooth connectivity... that would be great.

Wlserwis'es proposals of improvements are interesant and legitimate, and perhaps however it is worthwhile considering them?..

I think i have answered everything - or is something not clear ?

I have another suggestions.

1. When I selected picture for ImageWizard and chenga my mind, I cannot select another, I need to restart IW.
2. When I copy photos to PC, I need to automatically rename them, for example YYMMDD_HHMMSS.jpg

Hi, First of all I must say it is very good program and I use it very often. One thing should be great. I would like to change the ringtone for each contact in PC. It would be quick than in phone. What do you think FJ?

That's a suggestion from many users, but in other threads FJ already
explained that this is not possible from external software.
