I've used mpe 1.8.9 for some time in windows 10 and when I click the synchronise icon mpe has always connected automatically via wifi and done the sync. But mpe has suddenly stopped doing that and will only connect if i open the app manually on the phone. I've been through the app settings (v 1.0.66) and the windows 10 settings and can't see anything that governs this and I don't know why the apps' automatic startup (on the phone) has stopped working.

I think it is a little hard for author to debug old versions. 1.9.0 is available, try with it and if still doesn't work then continue thread.
