local contact sync Sony Xperia XZ2

Hi,

I want my contacts and calender saved local on the phone (not in cloud/internet).
If I just select just 'phone' (Setting Phone-accounts to sync) in MyPhoneExplorer, it synchronizes/copy all contact to the phone as normal. It saves it as: "Local" on the phone.
If I manually add a contact to my phone, It saves it as: "Phone contact". I can't change that. So, two different locations on the phone.

If I sync again, the "phone contact" is not visible in the MFE contact list, phone. I have to change the 'Phone-accounts to sync' setting to 'sync all contacts', 'com.sonyericsson.localcontact (local contacts)' appears also in MPE contacts.
In there are my manually saved contacts.
I don't like the 'sync all contacts' option because I get multiple of the same contacts Smile

I never had this issue with previous phones.
The MyPhoneExplorer software and MyPhoneExplorer Client app are working fine. Thanks for that..! Cool

Anyone an idea how I can get my local contacts in one place locally Smile

As you write yourself, you cannot specify the input location when creating a new contact on the mobile phone.
I hope that's not true, otherwise you would indeed have a problem?!
In any case, there should be a way to select the contact account when entering a new entry.

Otherwise you should try an alternative contacts app.

Right! I can't change the location. Or it's via google sync. That's not what I want.
I'm using the stock app for contacts now. Maybe I have to try a different app for that Indeed.

Everything works fine. I don't understand why the phone apparently has a different standard location for contacts. And not saving to the the Default 'phone'-setting from MPE. There are no other profiles on the phone that I can see.

You can also try the following:
Install MyLocalAccount
After installation, the account must also be activated: phone => Settings => Accounts => Add
