A newbie aboard.

I have a K800i and some jar files are stored on the M2 stick. Unfortunately, I just can't back up these jar files on my PC.

In exemple, the K800i does read the file 608 Ko. But MPE does read the jar file as a 361 Ko file. I found some very looking cabalistic files ( like ssd1154d22d1f4f4f5555f42f4 ) stored on the system/ams/ directory and these files seem to be linked to the 361 Ko file wich should be 608 Ko.

I would like to know how to just download the jar file in it's original size. And of course, all the others files wich I have the same backup/size problem.

P.S : FAQ have been usefull. I fixed 2 problem just reading them. " They " have right when " they " say " read the FAQ ". Though FAQ didn't help me in this last particular case.

Its not possible to restore the apps from your MemoryStick. The phone holds the important data in a locked part of the phone memory.

And if the data are stored on the memory phone instead of the M2 stick

Then its also not possible to get the applications back
