Connecting with 2 different 'phones

Apologies in advance for what may appear to be a stupid question, but...

For his birthday on Monday, we're getting my son a SE K550i 'phone.

We both use Mozilla Thunderbird for our email.

We have separate logons in XP (Media Center).

Am I right to think that he will log on as himself and be able to synch with his TB contacts without any problem? And by 'any problem', I mean without messing up my settings!! :)

I found some information about "Command line parameters for MyPhoneExplorer" under the FAQ - but am not sure whether that applies if we have separate logons.

Many thanks.

If you use two useraccounts in Windows then its absolutly no problem. MyPhoneExplorer will work on every account with own data and settings. But after installing MyPhoneExplorer you have to copy the link to MPE to the second account.

PS.: It would be also possible with the same windows-account (with the correct settings)

Aargh - it's birthday day, and this isn't as easy as I thought/hoped!!

I've - I think - finally got the 'phone and PC to recognise each other; however, when I try and connect with the 'phone, it says "Connection Error. Data account list full. Delete account".

Has anyone else come across this problem? What else should I be checking?

In desperation, Patrick

Happy happy smiley face now! :D

Not too sure what I changed on the 'phone; however, I saw something which talked about serial connection, so I selected that, and all now seems to be OK - phew!!
