Paid support???

I wonder if Franz may entertain an option of offering guaranteed and timely support to users who have financially contributed to development of this software. I've used it for years and loved it, but it's so frustrating when one had hit a snag, the software no longer doing what it used to, and there's nobody to turn to for a solution.

That has been asked for many times over the years but FJ always refused for good reasons.
Sorry to disapoint you but that won´t come.

I'm sure FJ has his own good reasons, but, yes, it's disappointing. As a person who'd donated more than once, I feel that I deserve a little bit of hand-holding when I get stuck as I'm now.

Guy, that´s why it´s called donation and not purchase.
FJ is a single private person who does all the work on the MPE in his free time besides family and job and he does this all by himself. Considering that you have a pretty nice piece of software here that started before anybody was even thinking of inventing Android as an operating system.

I discovered MPE years ago as the only option to sync my phone with Outlook and had happily used it for years. But now I'm back to square one, manually trying to enter information in both places with no mistakes. I understand that FJ is busy with more important things in his life, but that doesn't make my life any easier.
