Repeated transfer timeouts

Connecting over WiFi
I hardly can transfer more than a few (5-20) megabytes of information before catching
When this happens, app on the phone indicates that connection exists and/or the transfer is in progress. (The notification icon is spinning.)
At the same time transfer to an older tablet works just fine.
I already tried to change "Standby mode" setting to no effect.
