Unable to start Andoid Client

Hello,
Since March 2019, I have been unable to start MPE Andoid Client on my wife's phone.
When I try it, a screen appears, which shows a phone with the message: "Allow MPE Client to make and manage phone calls .... etc...
Unfortunately, the screen is essentially dead: the only possible action is to press the button "continue".
But when I do this, MPE Client stops, I find myself back on the main phone screen...

- The Phone is a Sony Xperia ST23i, running Andoid 4.0.4. The Client version is 1.0.56. All the authorisations are clicked, but greyed.

- I have tried to uninstall/reinstall MPE client, with all the options on, to no avail.

- MPE Client works flawless on my phone, a Samsung Galaxy A6 running Android 8.0.0 client version 1.0.55.

Does someboy have an idea?

Thanks in advance

Pao

OK!
I solved the problem by reinitializing the phone...

Not a very clean solution!

But apparently no one has an obvious idea!

Regards,

Pao

What does "reinitializing" mean?
You do know, that there is an MPE Client 1.0.59 out?

Still the same problem with the Client 1.0.59.

I get the message "The background activity for MyPhoneExplorer client is restricted. With this setting MyPhoneExplorer will not work! Would you like to open the dialog for chaning this setting?"

I don't understand the word "chaning". And the options presented to modify the application parameters do not relate to something meaningfull.

I found under the battery management tool, a setting for Energy consumption. For the MPE apps, I change the setting to not turn off the app when not in used. And now it is working like before.

I am translating the setting from French. Sorry.
