Contact interactions not shown

In the past the recent contact interaction data (calls/SMS send&received) was showing in the Contacts app on the bottom of every contact. It was annoying that it showed only really recent interactions (e.g. if last phonecalls was 1 year ago, then contact history for this person is empty), but still it was useful.
Now (possibly because I fiddled with many settings...) it's not appearing. The only related setting that I remember disabling is "Contact info saved from interactions" (in Google Account People & sharing), but it's description speaks about links to other services, etc.
Is anybody familiar with that?
