Hi, my phone (Asus Zenfone with Android 6) was stolen. I have backup from MyPhoneExplorer, can I somehow restore SMS text conversations to a new phone?

Yes, i have done this before. There are profile folders for each phone somewhere on local disk (i forgot location). On old (stolen) profile copy all messages to pc archive. After archiving, simply copy sms database file from one profile to another. Then restore sms from archive to phone with "in original location"
