Contacts not syncing Phone to PC direction

Hi - I'm using MPE to sync between an Android 6.0 phone and a Windows 10 PC running Thunderbird. I've just noticed contact syncing is not working Phone to PC. Other direction is fine. Also, mail syncing is working perfectly in both directions.
MPE is set up to sync contacts in both directions, but even if I set it to force sync phone to PC it still doesn't work. Anyone have any ideas??
