What exectly should that feature do?

Cause when I have pictures on the phone that isn't cached by MPE, they aren't downloaded automaticly... aren't the feature working for my phone, or is it just me that doesn't know how to use it?

The feature sould download all photos automatically in a pre-defined folder. Which phone-model you use ? Do you see a error-message ? In which path the photos are saved on your phone ?

I'm having a SE K608i.
I'm recieving no error messages at all. It just seams like there is nothing to sync (which there is? I'm having uncached (by MPE) picture in the phone).

MY CONFIGURATION:

dir for photo-sync: D:\MILLE\Mina dokument\Mina bilder\K608i

[ ] delete transfered pictures
[ ] create date-depending subfolders

database: D:\MILLE\Mina dokument
[ ] encrypt

IN MULTI-SYNC OPTIONS:

[x] sync photos


EDIT: the photo-dir is empty. both before and after the sync.

Where are the photos saved on the phone ? Which path you see if you browse with MyPhoneExplorers filebrowser to the photos ?

Ah... i think here we have the problem.

The path to the photos on the phone is: \bilder\camera_semc\100MSDCF\

"bilder" is swedish for "pictures".

So an option in MPE to change the path where the photos are located maybe?

MPE should find the photos there. Its not binded to language-depended folders. Start the photo-sync and post then the logfile here

why MPE 1.6.2 can't sync photos from memory stick/picture folder.....

Cause the photos are not placed there

coz every picture i transfered via usb-cable n bluetooth either infrared is place in this directory.. can u make this folder sync capable???

photos are now syncing themselfs.

EDIT: maybe would be nice to make it sync in the background, cause it could take a while when downloading all the pictures from the phone... and sometimes you want to be able to read SMS's in MPE och view contacts, or something like that. Also, it the sync often popups in the foreground of EVERY application on my computer... which is kind of irritating. I'm using bluethooth, so when I'm coming in in my room it startes to sync automaticly, and pops up on the screen. :- )

@K800i: There is no sence to sync mixed files from the phone. For this you can use the filebrowser.

@Mille: I know about the wish to show the sync-window somewhere in background. But there is a functional problem: All data in MyPhoneExplorer must been locked during the sync so that no shit happens

I'm a little confused with this topic- please confirm whether it is possible or not to sync photos while source folder is located on the stick. For me this feature works only when sourse is on the phone memo.

Both folders should be included.
On the stick the photos are searched in DCIM\100MSDCF

OK, thank you veru much for the answer. For 100MSDCF it works fine, but how to set it as main for photos? I went through all the phone's menu (K750i) and couldn't find any possibility to change target folder for future photos- is it possible to change it at all?

or meyby it is possilbe to monitror DCIM\101MSDCF? This will be better solution- my sony camera uses memory stick card and stores photos under the 101MSDCF folder. With that I'm able to repleace the cards between phone and camera and still could preview photos.

Normally the photos are saved in 100MSDCF and MyPhoneExplorer searches only in this folder. But i know it can ahppen that the phone changes the folder, maybe i will find the time that MyPhoneExplorer is also able to search other folders like 100MSDCF.

maybe not many others, but it would be great if it will be able to search in 101MSDCF. Please!!!
