I use mpe 1.8.7 on windows 10 to sync contacts with a samsung galaxy s8 using wifi. The problem is that when syncing contacts I get a list of duplicates in mpe, yet on my phone there are no duplicates in the contacts list. I tried deleting the phone completely from mpe and then setting up a new connection but when it syncs the phone there are duplicates all the way down the contacts list. Very wiered, can anyone help?

I have all contacts in MPE twice too, no duplicates in the Phone.

I tried to use "Merge contacts", but it works only to merge 2 or more contacts into a single contact, so I'd have to manually use it for each contact.

Is there any way to remove duplicate contacts from MPE, without losing the contacts?

MyPhoneExplorer 1.8.12 portable, client v1.0.68, Windows 10 Home 64-bit 1809, Huawei P Smart Z.

FYI: it might be the same issue I had and found 'Duo' on my SamSung was creating the second set. Maybe Whats-up-ap thingy is doing the same.
