Using the software with several phones.

Greetings from a happy user :D

I'm really glad I found this piece of software. I have to say that it outclasses the stuff SonyEricsson provides:
  • It is clearly much more user friendly.
It installs and runs with a minimum of hazzle, as opposed to the SE application which performs all sorts of mischief when you install it (XP sp2).
So: Well done, people

There is just one single (and not very significant) thing I have not come to grips with: I have created three different accounts for the three phones in the family: A K750i, K510i & a Z310i. When I connect a phone (USB) the software seems to assume that it is the one I connected last time. If it is not, I get an error message saying that Com port this and that cannot be read. No big deal, as all I have to do to correct it is to go to the menu and select the correct phone, but it is a bit annoying. Any ideas? I searched the forum but found nothing on this particular subject.

In Version 1.6.2 you should get a balloontip which says: "New device detected on COM blabla, connect now with the user <Username> ?"

You don't get this balloontip ?

Yes I do. I was just a bit surprised that I have to select the correct user manually, but as I said, It's no big deal. I still love the program. :D
