Folder Structure from Outlook could not be listed

Hi

I have recently moved onto a new desktop PC and used this point to change my e-mail from a PST file over to IMAP. However when I am in settings, Sync and hit the Advanced buttons for Contacts / Events / Notes I get the message listed in the subject.

I am using Outlook as part of the Office 365 suite on subscription, with Windows 10 (64 bit) and MPE V1.8.8

I have tried running Outlook and MPE in Admin mode together and separately, with PC re-starts too, but that has not made the difference. I did have a look at the com Add ins in OUtlook option. There is a "MyPhoneExplorer" add-in, but having ticked it, clicked OK and tried to sync, when I go back in, it is unticked again. I have also uninstalled MPE and installed it back in, but that has not made the difference.

This could be down to user error, so I won't mind an education; if this has been solved elsewhere, then please post the URL.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Have gone back into desktop Outlook and the COM Add-ins section:

The MyPhoneExplorer add-in remains unticked. below the optional boxes, it says about "Load behaviour: Not Loaded. A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM add-in."

what would cause the runtime error and would a virgin copy of the Add-in fix this?

Anybody with any ideas? This is an unresolved matter at this time.

Same problem

Hi again,
It is so pitty not to have any answer to our problem, at least to know if we can expect any update in a while !!
Actually, I could solve my problem because hopefully my mobile brand, Huawei, provides a SW that allow to synchronise sms, photos, videos, applications, and ........ contats and agenda of outlook.
It is not as customizable thant MPE, but it work ............ ;o)
Maybe you can try with another brand ?!

Hi
I could also synchronise my Samsung Tab S with the HiSuite SW !!
Good news then.

An other good news is that my laptop bugged, I donn't know why ?, so after reinstalling all my computer the phonexplorer did work to synchronise outlook 2016 with my android phone.
Sorry but I can not give you the explanation why it works now, so perhaps you can try uninstall and reinstall office2016 and MPE

Good luck guys
Laurent

Hi
I finally found the reason why MPE has been working and why before it could not synchronize with outlook 2016!
It is because I had also installed a tool that I love which is Microsoft Picture Manager, coming with Office 2003.
When removing it, then MPE works again, I tried to install and remove 3 times, each time same result: working without, not working with picture manager.
Perhaps it is the same for any tools coming from old versions of microsoft office at the same time that the 2016 version.

Hope this can help somebody!
Regards
Laurent
