Stopped Synchronizing

Using 1.8.6 Been using for a long time daily. The desktop app connects to the phone USB [Edge-7 via USB cable] ) as usual ... Visual confirmation .
Cell status says MyPhoneExplorerClient Connected by USB Cable.
Every time I click the "Synchronize" button the "please wait" dialog appears bu immediately a second dialog "MyPhoneExplorer has stopped working "Close the Program"
