When you connect your phone to the computer and download the messages/contacts etc from the phone, where does the program save them?

The Application-Data Folder is hidden (windows-standard). Check the right options in the file-browser settings and you'll see also hidden files/folders

Simply type %appdata% (sic!) into the address line of your Windows Explorer (or Internet Explorer), press ENTER and you will directly get to your Application Data folder regardless of the current settings ("hidden" or not).
