MPE on phone keeps screen lighting up when connected to PC

Hi.
When my Samsung with Android 5.1.1 permanently connected to the PC with MPE then it keeps phone screen lighting up. Yes, with minimal brightness but still lighting up. So it consumes battery. This is so convenient to have all messages, notifications, etc. on your computer screen keeping phone in the pocket (while you are sitting in front of computer
), but due to this screen lighting feature i have to disconnect phone to save battery.
Are there any parameters which can switch off this screen lighting?
