Hi,

up to today MyPhoneExplorer worked perfect (depending of course on my options , so for one and a half year at the least ). But now it does not work any more. I get the message Maplist of Outlook 2016 cannot be build. As I work under Windows10 I updated MyPhoneExplerer to version 1.8.8 . I did not notice any relevant changes. And continue to get the same message.

Can anybody help me? I would like to continue with MyPhoneExplorer for the sync of calendar and contacts, as it works within putting my data in the cloud (very important to me).

Thanks in advance, hans

PS I use a Sony Xperia 3[/img]

Have you also updated MPE's .apk file in the phone? If not get it here: http://www.fjsoft.at/mpeclient.apk.

If that doesn't solve the issue uninstall MPE with an uninstaller like Revo so as to have no leftovers. Reinstal. Try to repair Office by double xxx on its installer and choosing the "Repair" option.

I don't know anything else to tell you, but probably you have not updated the .apk file.

The mpeclient I had already before putting the question up here reinstalled, that did not solve the problem. By the way, your link gives an errormessage!
But the repair suggestion of Office was great, MPE works great again! Thanks a lot.

PS Is it true that MPE works directly, without puttin my data in the cloud and/or in Google? That was the reason I opted for it in the first place.

I'm having the same problem after updating to 1.8.8.
I'm using Win10 and Office 2016 Connecting to a Galaxy S4 running Android 5.0.1

As already stated, the link to the apk file doesn't work.

Thanks for any help.

Have you tried the Repair suggestion of Office? It just worked great with me. Hope it will with you too.
And the mpeclient.apk can be found in the google play store, being the client version of MPE, or when you go on Chrome on your mobile and search for mpeclient.apk. You will find another link that actually works fine.

Thanks for your response.
I googled for the apk file but the only one I can see is the same version that already have. Should I remove the app from my phone and install again? if yes, will cause me to lose any data?

My PC is a work one and so the Office install is the Enterprise version and so I can't see any 'repair' option.

Ah I got it to work now.

I was using BlueTooth for my connection. So I changed the connection type to USB cable and the PC tool complained that it couldn't find the phone.

Then I changed the connection back to BlueTooth and Bingo!! I can sync again.
It seems that the timeouts on my phone might be a bit short for MPE, because when the phone is about to lock, MPE loses contact even when half through a sync. I look at this a bit further on the phone.

I am happy to know that it worked for you. This Office 2016 has plenty of bugs, hence my suggestion.

The link I provided is a direct download from MPE site, and it works perfectly. However, it is true that it does not work when you click it in this forum, but if you try to copy and paste it on the your browser you get the file immediately. Don't ask me why!

There isn't any setting for cloud sync.

I don't think the issue is on the phone side, but uninstalling that application and reinstalling again has no connection with any other data.

The Office repair is made with the install file itself, but it does not always work, just like other MS stuff.

Not quite right. The url you give adds a 'full stop' to the end so is wrong. Correct one is ... http://www.fjsoft.at/mpeclient.apk .... Sometimes you just have to use incorrect English ... :-)
