I keep getting duplicate photos downloaded when I sync. Any idea why?

Any ideas? Anyone? Every time I sync it creates additional copies of all my phone photos labelled ----(1) then ----(2) etc

But you gotta give us some more details to your problem. None of us here has a magical christal ball.

So, describe in detail what hard- and software you´re using and what exactly you´re doing with it.
Then we got a chance to find the error.

First of all thank you for your job on MPE. I used it quite every day and I
am very satisfied.

I have the same problem of double identic photos after each synchronization.

My phone is a HuaWei Honor 5 C, running Android 7.0, EMUI 5.0. I use 1.8.8 version of MPE, Windows 7 professional edition.

I noticed one little thing that, maybe, could help to solve the problem (what I couldn't do by myself, but believe me, I tried!) : when I'm in the MPE interface and I look in my smartphone folders, I have exactly the same folders both in my internal storage and in my external memory (the SD card, I guess). Including of course the DCIM folder containing all my photos.

Could it be a reason why I have systematically obtain 2 copies of each photo after a synchronization ? I don't know, but surely (or maybe) you will.

Two more important informations :
- I set by default my phone to save all my files on my SD card.
- I checked on my phone : all the photos are ONLY in my SD card. No one is in the internal storage.

Big mystery !
