Today I tried using MPE to backup my Samsung Android Phone. I downloaded and installed the latest version of the MPE client on my desktop and phone.

I am running latest MPE client on Windows 7, 64 bit trying to make a backup / transfer data to another android phone.

However, I get a lot of OBEX Errorcode: 00 messages when making a backup. Though I can see in MPE the various call logs, contacts. No files or apps though.

Also using MPE connected over WIFI and have the official Samsung ADB drivers installed.

Please help!

I am running into the same problem. When I try to make a backup, MPE sais it cannot connect to the phone (Whilst it actually is) After xxx 2 messages ("cannot connect" and "Obex protocol cannot be intialised. Obex error:" there is no number after the : ) away for about 10 times, MPE will tell me that is has made the backup. When I then try to restore the backup it then shows a few files that are supposedly backed up. But it then warns that the copy was made with another model and that I could run into compatibility problems...

I have tried to connect via bluetooth instead, and that seem to work, only the build of the backup will take several days.

Anybody has any suggestions?
