Sync problem with Android

I use MPE to sync Outlook with my Android. Android, and every contact manager written for Android, like to insert a little circle for a photograph which, if blank, is replaced by the persons initials.
All my Outlook addresses are fully formatted as in:
Mr. John Smith, Jr. or
Dr. Sally Brown, Ph.D.
When MPE exports the contact information, it dutifully exports the fully formatted name. The problem this causes is that EVERYONE'S initials start with an M (Mr., Ms., Mrs.) or a D (various kinds of Doctors).
Is there a way to get MPE to ignore the title field when synching to Android? I note that this is an option on the "Appearance" settings to include or exclude the title within MPE itself, but no option when synching.
Secondly, does anybody know where MPE puts the task list on the Andriod? I am trying to get my tasks into BusinessCalendar without reinventing the wheel so I am wondering where, and in what format, MPE Tasks are saved. It would be nice to have my date sensitive tasks on the calendar along with my appointments.
