I am going away shortly and want to keep my phone updated with outlook and to download photos.

Can I do this without losing any data?

I already do this, keeping MPE loaded on 2 machines (home & work) and it seems to work just fine. I've seen no indication that I'm losing anything.

do you sync with anything

Just text messages & calls, I don't use it for the fancy stuff. I'm one of the few who's just using it as a way to control/interact with the phone through the PC.
