MPE will not discover Samsung Galaxy S5

I cannot get MPE to discover my Samsung Galaxy S5. I've tried all of the methods, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB (on all ports), but so far unsuccessful. I was able to connect with my old Samsung S4 via Bluetooth and would like to be able to do the same with my S5. Any suggestions? Is there any plans to make the S5 compatible? Thanks, great software!

I have the same problem with an S5 Mini. Kies sees the phone fine but that's no use as all the contacts from my old HTC are in MPE.

Yes I have read the FAQ
Yes I have got USB debugging enabled.
No I don't connect as charge only, that isn't an option on the S5. It only does Media Device (MTP), Camera (PTP) or USB tethering. Kies works with any.

It's Windows 7 and android 4.4.2. I'm trying to get a 1st connection via USB to install the client.

I've found a work around for USB not working.

1) Connect as media device and copied client .apk to \downloads on the phone (I don't gave a Google account)
2) Disconnected and manually installed client.
3) Still no joy over USB.
4) Bluetooth paired phone to laptop.
5) Sync works fine over bluetooth.
