Lollipop on S4

I've just been invited to upgrade the OS on my Verizon Galaxy S4 to Lollipop (5.0), which I've refused for the time being. I see some issues mentioned in the English section, but is everyone waiting or installing? I've heard the "default SMS" feature is now gone, which is reason enough to upgrade, but are there any issues that should keep me from doing it? I see some posts in the German section but I can't read them to find out what's happening there.

I'm running MPE 1.8.6 on the desktop and MPE Client 1.0.34.

Nobody has any input on Lollipop and MPE?

Until the screen broke yesterday I had an S4 with Lollipop (running Dan's Google Play Edition rom from ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=2557353 ... 5.0.1). MPE installed and ran absolutely perfectly. I sync with Outlook 2010 on an XP Pro machine via wifi.

Go for it.

Not sure what your comment adds to this thread but ..... for SD card restrictions use the 'search' function - both with this forum and more generally regarding Android and the sd card restrictions added in by Google.

I upgraded to Lollipop about two weeks ago and so far so good. It syncs via wifi like before, which is to say with quirky reliability but doesn't seem to nag me as much about the default messaging app. I give Lollipop's compatibility with MPE on my phone a qualified thumbs up.
