myphone windows7 turn greek characters into question marks

hi.i m running windows 7 home premium and i have just realized that syncing(samsung trend lite android os 4.1) turns my already typed (greek) contacs into "chinese".please note that my original windows installation lang was greeek(now,english after downloading english pack via vistalizator) but my locale is set to greek.The same thing happens if i choose to type in greek in the new contact box of mpe,which turns out fine originally,but after syncing its a mix of letters in latin and question marks.
