When sending a long text copied from PC, i.e. spanish text, handled in Unicode, it is complicated to convert it to plain text.
The reason for converting from Unicode is to reduce the number of carrying sms by appr. factor 4.
I know it meens other characters.
It would be nice with a bult-in feature for this..
I've just sent a 1250 chars text counting 40 messages in Unicode - to Cuba. I had to send it through providers web sms service - over three sendings.
Can you not use an application such as ... http://www.elfdata.com/encodingmaster/ ... ? Or even Word or the word processing app from something like Libreoffice?
