Whenever I plug in my S4 via USB (Win 8.1 Pro x64), MPE auto-launches, tries to auto-connect, but always errors with "Connection to phone could not be established. No device attached to USB." If I detach the cord and re-attach with MPE already open, I get the same error. However, I can connect manually immediately by pressing F1 (or File->Connect).

The phone shows that it is connected prior to MPE completing the connection attempt, but perhaps it is attempting to auto-connect before all the Windows<->Android OS handshakes are complete.

I would like to be able to delay the auto-connect by a set amount of time to see if that doesn't resolve the issue. Is there a configuration setting that can be adjusted to do this?

Please post the logfile after this happened.

And also try if you have the problem too if you launch MPE Client on the phone manually before you want to connect.

I have since re-installed Windows on the machine where I have MPEx installed and no longer experience this problem. I am going to chalk it up to a hardware change that confused Windows and/or MPEx.
