Hi,

I want to congratulate you for your fine job on MyPhoneExplorer and wish you all the best.
I would like to make a suggestion though:

Despite of your password protected profiles, the application saves the data files in TXT format which can be read by anyone who knows how to use notepad. Please encrypt the profile files so that nobody can read them as easy as they do now.

Thanks,
George

Hi George,

in next release (coming soon), the user data files will be stored in the user's profile folder, which would be protected by windows security rights. I know, this is not a 100% protection if more people have administrative rights, but it's better than nothing.

Let's wait what FJ says about this when he's back from holiday.

A encryption needs time - i think its enought to save the files in the userfolder (which is implemented in the next version)

In other words ... we cannot use this application in our offices :) because system administrators can read our user folders ... unless ... we are the administrators. :D

Hi George,

good news :!:

Today evening a new version of MPE should be published and it's containing an optional encryption.
Just for you (and your administrators :D ) *joke*
