Cannot make outgoing calls

I cannot make any outgoing calls through the MPE software anymore.

The phone is a Samsung Galaxy S4 mini
Connection type: USB
MPE version: 1.8.5
Windows version: Vista

The phone has been repaired (and factory reset) because of a hardware problem.
After installing the software on the phone again everything is working except making outgoing calls (before the repair it was woring).
I choose a number to call, click the call button (is it called call? Im not sure as im using the dutch translation)
and the screen disappears (as normally) but the second screen doesn't appear and the phone never makes the call.

Receiving calls, sending and receiving text messages all work.

I deleted the profile in MPE on the computer and also uninstalled and reinstalled the software but it still doesn't work

Any idea what causes this?

Never mind. We solved the problem.

Today i had fysical access to the phone and noticed it asked for the dialing application to be used whenever an outgoing call from MPE was attempted.
I set it to remember the correct application and everything is working fine now.
