HTC One Verizon, android 4.4.2, People Calendar?

I am new...great software...best I have ever seen in 20 years using Outlook.

All is good, except on the brand new phone I cannot tell it to enter new calendar entries to the 'sync' created calendar...it keeps entering them to Google (which I do not use). Phone default calendar is "HTC TV", and it does not seem to know about (or the name of) the one created by myphoneexplorer. I added a new local calendar called 'People', but cannot get those entries to sync to outlook either. I would prefer to have one calendar on the phone if possible. No cloud calendar/contacts for me thanks.

Do I have to start over and define a local calendar before sync and tell MPE its there somehow? or can I get the HTC phone to recognize the calendar name already created by myphoneexplorer and tell it to put new entries there?

I'm amazed at all the possible sources of calendars this phone (droid 4.4.2) can handle. My last phone was 2.2

If someone knows of a good written explanation of how multiple calendars from multiple sources are managed by droid 4.4.2, and what that means for an outlook type sync, that would be great also.

Check the settings of MyPhoneExplorer Client on the phone. there you can set up which calendars are used for sync and in which calendar MyPhoneExplorer will push new appointments.
