I have successfully used MyPhoneExplorer for sometime but had to reinstall new disk / software etc and just struggled to get to work again.
I have Galaxy Ace / Android
I connect via USB cable (is connected and charging)
I have tried the settings as suggested but still get message
Connection to Phone could not be established
No device attached to USB
------- obviously incorrect (the phone IS CHARGING via the USB)
I have downloaded the Samsung KIES package
Still could NOT connect
Switched to KIES Lite
Exit Kies and start again - found my 'phone
then MyPhoneExplorer also worked
I am afraid I can not identify what changed but I now have MyPhoneExplorer working and this maybe useful for anyone else with similar problem
