MPE Calendar Messed up

I went from a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to a Note 3 phone. Before connecting my N3 everything was fine. As soon as I transferred over my contacts, etc to the N3 and synced up with MPE, there are so many historic and duplicate calendar entries that do not match Outlook in any way. Fortunately, I forgot to change the sync with Outlook 2010 and thus outlook has not changed. How do I therefore delete all of the entries in MPE and my phone; before I then resync it with outlook.

Two ways, the first one should be the better one:
1) in the advanced sync settings for Outlook choose "Force Outlook -> phone". In this mode there will be no changes done in Outlook and all needed changes will be done on the phone
2) set the calendar sync in myPhoneExplorer to "Only MyPhoneExplorer", then press the second button in the toolbar of the organizer (Download entire). Now switch the calendar view to "List" (last button in the toolbar), select all entries, delete them and sync the changes to your phone. When the phone is empty then enable the sync to Outlook again
