Not all phone numbers are shown/exported

I have some contacts with Mobile (work) numbers. MyPhoneExplorer 1.8.5 normally shows each of these numbers if I hover the appropriate contact in the list or if I open the contact for editing. But there is no way to see these numbers in the list because there are no appropriate column. There are more than a dozen of phone number types (Mobile(W), Pager, Assistant etc.) but only five (Home, Mobile, Work, Fax, Other) column types for them. Is it normal?

Additionally, numbers that have no corresponding columns are not exported to .xml files. Does XML contact file format have entry types for these number types?

BTW, if I open a contact edit dialog directly from the list, number type combo box always contacts all possible types. But if I move through the list without closing the edit dialog (using "<<" and ">>" buttons), phone type combo boxes contain only a current type for each number, so it is impossible to change number type. Is it normal or this is a bug?

CSV is a table format, the numbers of the phone cannot be defined good to a table. There can be several Mobile numbers, Userdefined numbers,... nothing is fixed. Use the *.vCard-Format for Import/Export. This format does support all contact fields.

Thank you for explanation. Do you plan to add columns to display additional phone numbers?

To be honest - since there is no common way to flexible field arrangements in a table view i do not plan to extend the export in this case. maybe for xml-Export cause there its easier to structure the order of data.

It looks like this might be my problem too. I'm trying to sync contacts from my gf's Sony Ericson to her Android phone. The Ericson's contact names are downloaded without phone numbers. I think she didn't specify whether numbers were mobile, work et cetera so they're just lost in the mire.

If I'm right, I want to try using the "*.vCard-Format for Import/Export" as you say, but what does that mean? I looked through the options and saw nothing to that effect. Could you please explain?

If all phone numbers are lost then it was probably a known bug which is still not fixed cause i was not able to reproduce it. Press the button "Donwload entire" (its the second button in the toolbar) and then export the contacts as *.vcf-File. You can also use Menu-Extras-Create backup/Restore backup
