I used to sync all my contacts in outlook with my phone (Sony Xperia ZR) using myPhoneExplorer on my old computer (Win7/Office2010/MPE1.8.5).

Now I have bought a new computer Microsoft Surface Pro and transfered MyPhoneExplorer 1.8.5, Office 2010, on Win8.1 PRO

MPE works correctly with the sync for Call logs, message photos, files, EXCEPT if I try to sync with Outlook: Calendar/Tasks/Notes/Contacts do not work
If i goto Options/Sync/Outlook Contacts ou Calendar or Notes and click Advanced i get the error message below:

Folder structure from Outlook could not be listed

It seems there is a problem with login:

Resolved! Multiple profiles in Outlook on previous computer

On my previous/old computer I had 2 different mail profiles for my Outlook PST file (created using Windows/Control Panel/Mail (32 bits)/Profiles: 2 different items listed here)

On my new computer, I had only one because I just moved the Outlook PST file without configuring the profiles.

Now I have created a second mail profile for Outlook on the Windows 8 Microsoft Surface pro tablet and MPE is working fine now!

WinXP SP3: Outlook 2003: MPE 1.8.5 beta 2014/01/20

Same issue... Outlook got corrupted and needed to be rebuilt. I eliminated some unnecessary Outlook Profiles, and when I restarted MPE > Settings > Sync, and tried to reconnect to Outlook, MPE no longer "recognized my Folder Structure". Happened on Contacts, Appointments/Tasks, Notes. I followed the instructions below and recreated some older Profiles (by name only). This fixed it for Contacts and Appointments/Tasks. But the problem still remains with Notes.

Any suggestions?

I don't have any problem of that kind anymore.
Maybe try to have exactly the same profiles in Mail as you had before.
What is the error message you have in the log file of MPE (Debug.txt) when you try to configure Notes sync?

Make sure your code runs under the Windows user identity that has MAPI profiles.
When running in a service (including ASP under IIS), set your code to run under
the Windows user account that has MAPI profiles.

which does not require an existing profile.

Please delete your phone profile in MyPhoneExplorer (Menu-File-Users-<current user>-Delete profile. MyPhoneExplorer does cache the last used profilename and with a new profile setup this cache is cleared.
