newline breakes strings in contacts export

Hello!

I found that MPE can put 0x0A into strings in export. And it make errors in string-by-string Perl reading that I made.

Almost went crazy in finding out why 4 strings out of 160 can break cvs import into my script, and looking for a Utf possible bad character. There are cyrillic letters.

So, once again. Csv I got like:

,Some Person 0x0AName,8888,9999,,,,,

And Perl like:

[0] = ,Some Person
[1] = Name,8888,9999,,,,,

vcf looks so:

N;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE;CHARSET=UTF-8:Name=0A Middle;Surname

But strings with no this error looks like:

Code:

N;CHARSET=UTF-8:Name Middle;Surname

As you can see, no encoding specified where newline is missing

MyPhoneExplorer does export the csv-Files for best compatibility with Excel. And in Excel you can use linebreaks in Excel-Values only if they are encoded as 0x0A character. But i do not understand what is now the problem for you.
