Multi-part messages not being sent

Hi,

Thanks for this great product, I'm using 1.8.5 with Android 2.2 (HTC Desire)

Since recently, I think since installing 1.8.5, when sending a message which amounts to several SMS's, the entire message gets to the telephone (and seems to be sent) but is shown on the telephone as not being sent.
I say "seems to be sent" because I tried a message to myself (same number as the telephone), and received the message in spite of the error.

I get a timeout (CMS error Network Timeout) message from MyphoneExplorer on the PC side.

If I select "try to resend" on the phone side, the phone promptly dispatches the message.

It used to work perfectly in the past....

I am having the same problem, with the same phone, and have now tried the current beta. Unfortunately, it doesn't cure the problem.

Thanks for the help, but it still does not work.

A few more details so that the problem is more clearly defined:

On the phone side, the message gets posted with the an icon ( envelope (i)) displayed. The message does actually get sent without having to request "try to resend".
On the PC side : CMS error: 332 - Network Timeout.

Exactly the same problem as Rob has.

This used to be a fantastic app - but not since the recent changes produced these problems!

Did anyone find a solution/reason to this problem?

I have had huge problems with this error all day.

The timeout in the clients is set to 15 seconds (per message). Please check how much seconds the delivery needs when it works - is it near to 15 seconds ?

Given that a single-SMS message is not subject to error, and the multi-SMS messaging used to work fine in the past with same telephone/same operator, imho I don't see insufficient timeout settings being the source of the problem.

It IS a timeout issue. I am just not sure if MyPhoneExplorer gets no result in 15 seconds because the phone does not give it or because the result would came just some seconds later, in this case i could increase the timeout.

You say it worked earlier - what was changed since then ?

As I mentioned when I started this thread, it started not working after installing 1.8.5 (I think). Previously it worked.

This is an oldish phone, the HTC Desire (now about 3 years) it's running Android 2.2

I have another HTC phone, HTC One Mini with Android 4.3 (2.12.73.4) where the problem doesn't occur.
