I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and have had no problems with this app/software until I loaded 1.8.5. Now I can't make a connection to my phone. I use a USB cable. I know the phone has established a connection with the computer as I can browse with Windows Explorer and see files on the phone.

Interesting. I have the same problem, with a different android phone, running MPE 1.8.5 on linux ubuntu (running under Wine).

1.8.5 was working great until about a day ago. Now it can't find the phone with any connection type. I have reinstalled both the client and the app, but nothing seems to work. I can't live without this wonderful app!!

There is a catch in all of this connecting manners;

Excuse me FJ or posting this,but to help people out;

You need SDK drivers for android phones to get this whole thing running as it should. Search SDK drivers for android or similar on the internet,and install the whole thing,and install the drivers that come with it,and you should be up and running.
