Duplicate Calendar entries

MPE creates duplicate entries in my phone, which subsequently create duplicate entries in Outlook. So I do not allow phone to update Outlook. I keep Outlook up to date, but too many entries in phone to correct, and I'm scared to delete them in phone, because they just might cause problems back in Outlook.

How can I delete all calendar entries in phone, and re-sync from Outlook to phone?

Computer: Windows 10
Outlook: 2016
both with latest updates
Phone: Samsung S7 SM-G93A
Android: 7.0
Carrier: AT&T

In settings, Sync, Advanced, Sync Mode: select Force Outlook-> Phone.
After that you can delete the Phone entries and re-Sync.
