I am using WinXP. My Samsung S2 is on 4.1.2. My PC, my phone, modem and router are all in the same room within close proximity.

I still get frequent disconnection. I have to Connect -> Sync or Disconnect -> Connect -> Sync.

Enable "Stay alive" in the settings of MyPhoneExplorer Client and try again. Also change the WiFi standby rule to "Always on" or "No standby"
