Restore from back up query

used MPE to back up my Samsung S3. Everything is on my computer; there's a backup file which is about 460kb and then all individual apps, images, etc in other folders.
Today I got my new phone, the Samsung Galaxy S4. I thought it would be as easy as restoring from the backup but all it did was add contacts & SMS to my new phone.
When I backed up I selected for everything to be backed up, and it has been, but how do I get it all back onto the phone in its rightful place!
Any help would be appreciated.
