I am sorry if my questions have already been answered and if they look a bit silly but I am a complete newbie to the Android world and to your fine software.
1) When I write new entries into the calendar- and my smartphone is NOT connected - do I have to export the calendar, create a new save file and then, when I want to connect my mobile and sync it, re-import the save file or is there another, easier way to save my calendar entries ?
2) as most of my Contacts are business ones, is there an option to list them by Family name ( as they already are on my Samsung Ace) and - if so - how does it work ?

1) This happens only if you have no user profile loaded. Please check if your profile is loaded (its shown in the statusbar). Then add a appointment, restart MyPhoneExplorer -> the new appointment should be still here
2) Menu-File-Settings-Advanced 1-Display format for names
