Hi, I created a full backup earlier today, including Apps and Files. I've been able to restore the backup .mpb file, but I don't see how Applications and Files can be restored.

galaxy s3 I747 running 4.1.1
myphoneexplorer 1.8.4 (PC) and 1.0.23 (phone)

Any hints?

You have to upload the files throught the filemanager of MyPhoneExplorer, you can upload/install the apps throught Filemanager->Applications

This may be easier said than done.
How to know what files to recover and where to place them?

For example, I had to do a factory reset due to the fact that my daughter has set a screen password that she couldn't remember. But it was possible to use MPE to do a full backup. Now I have restored the text messages, contacts and some apps but the problem is that the settings and data for the apps is gone (I don't know how to recover them)

Example. KIK messenger (6.3.1.35)
The app works as if it just have been fetched from the store and it doesn't have any settings or conversations so I need to set it up from the beginning.
I thought it was possible to restore the files that seems to be related to KIK, One file "kik.android-2.apk" is located in ...\System storage\data\app
but that one I guess is the application itself and trying to restore it to the same location from where it was backed up gives the error "OBEX errcode: D0 - Internal Server Error"

So I don't really see the point of having the option to backup all files if they can't be restored?!
First I'd like to recover KIK and WhatsUp
Any tip?

The app folder is write protected.
Just install the app throught Files->Applications

Cause security reasons its in general not possible to backup the userdata of the applications.
