"Refresh automatically" default

I have a small suggestion for the "Control phone" feature: I keep forgetting to check "Refresh automatically" and then wonder why the screen mirror is not working. Could there be an option to make this the default setting? Or remember for next session?

The automatic refresh is problematic for some devices, cause of this i don't want to make it default. Please note that the screen is also refreshed on every click or action inside the phone screen

I understand your reasoning, but how about having it remember the last used state, instead of us who do/can use it having to check it every time? Or have it as an option in settings?
This, along with a faster refresh for rooted phones, would definitely make me donate.
