MPE Outlook Add-in affecting Outlook 2010

I installed Cyanogenmo 7.2.0 on my HTC Hero to extend its life.
As HTC Sync won't work anymore I moved to MPE. HTC Sync won't worked good with Outlook also ;)
I had some initial connecting problems because ADB USB drivers wasn't installed but solved with installation of HTC drivers.
Now Sync is working fine using USB Cable or WiFi.
The problem is when MPE Add-in is active in Outlook 2010 (Windows 7 x64) it prevents me to open multiple windows of Outlook - Mails, Contacts, Calendar - at same time.
When I disable the MPE Add-in in Outlook this functionality returns to work.
There is any fix or tweak available?

I have a problem with the MPE add-in for Outlook 2003. Not able to send emails in Outlook I spent a long time reinstalling email accounts, running Repair utilities etc. all with no change.

Finally found out that add-ins can cause problems in Outlook. The only one I had was MPE - so I uninstalled it and can now send emails.

Fine but how do I now synchronise my Android phone via MPE from Outlook?

The addin is NOT needed for the sync with Outlook. If the Addin makes problems then just disable it. The addin will not be developed in future cause its in general not compatible with the upcoming x64-Versions of Outlook.
