2 phones will not connect

Just installed this as fed up with Samsung Kies. Have two Samsung GT-S3370 Feature phones but neither will connect by USB. Any suggestions. On attaching USB I get the option on the phones to connect by Kies, Media Player or Mass storage. I have tried Kies and Mass Storage but neither actually connect. I get "Connection could not be established. No device attached to USB" As I can access the phone through Windows Explorer it is attached and communicating. I can access mosy things through Windows Explorer but not "Contacts" which I would like to backup as I have just brought them up to date and would like to transfer them between the two phones. I wonder if these models are not compatible.

I looked at the help which said

- When you plug in the phone choose 'Charge only'
- Ensure that 'USB debugging' is enabled on phone (Settings-Applications-Development or Settings-Developer options)
- Ensure that the Debug-Interface-Drivers for your phone are installed (ADB-Drivers)

I don't have a "Charge only" option. I get the menu above as soon as I connect the USB.
I don't have the USB Debugging option.
Don't know where to get the ADB drivers.

Any suggestions welcome.

These phones don't seem to be Android based and therefore aren't supported by MyPhoneExplorer.
