My request is to be able to have a transparent background for the tasks widget so you can embed the tasks with the wallpaper and sober look.

Transparency usually makes things a lot more difficult to read.

Ah yes, it is a VERY good idea !
All my widgets have a transparent background and the MPE tasks widget doesn't integrate well with them.
My suggestion: white text on a black rectangle, with the option to adjust the transparency of the rectangle from 0 to 100% (not the text, keep it plain white).
