hello!

sometimes myphoneexplorer in my phone is not running

while i have set it to automatically start when wifi is present and i have never closed it intentionally, i find it after few hours not running

can you make it ensuring that it will always run?
eventhough i 'exit all applications' to save memory

make it something like system app

thanks!

I've never had this problem. If I set MPE to 'always run on wifi' it keeps going. Does your wifi connection disappear when this happens? Have you got a 'task killer' or 'battery defender' type application running on your phone? (Uninstall BOTH!!).

after extensive research, I noticed that myphoneexplorer 'gets killed', when I make my pc sleep

wifi ofcourse continues to work

any idea how to prevent this?

MyPhoneExplorer (Desktop) gets killed when the PC goes to sleep ? Or do you mean MyPhoneExplorer on your phone gets killed ?

That is normal, after 15minutes in idle MyPhoneExplorer client will shut down automatically to save battery. In the client settings you can enable "Launch automatically" for your WiFi network then the client stays alive as long the phone is connected to your WiFi

I already have this enabled

maybe I need to disable the 'stand-by mode' or 'silent mode' or something?

(not sure what these are)

Take a look at the WiFi-rules, there is a setting in the phone to disable WiFi as soon the screen goes of, maybe this does force also the client to close

For the most phones: Go to the settings screen where you see the WiFi Routers in range, then click on the Menu-Button and click on "Advanced"
