Lost contacts from Outlook to MPE

Hello,
1. I am having difficulties getting all of my Oulook contacts to transfer over into the both the MPE and Android MPC app.

I am using the 1.8.4 desktop version and a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone.

I have followed the instructions to "disable the checkbox" in the Sync "exceptions" window I saw in one of your forum pages, but it didn't work.

2. For some reason, there are many duplicate entries in my MPE contact list. This doesn't make sense to me, as there are no duplicates in my Outlook file.

Wondering if you could please advise on these two issues.

Thank you in advance,
Bill (NYC)

Check first which contact accounts are synced, maybe there are no real duplicates - just identical contacts in diffrent contact accounts. Besides this, if you know that your data in Outlook are OK then i think it would be the easiest to choose "Force Outlook -> phone". This should also destroy the duplicates

Thank you for getting back to me.

I verified that there is only one contact account being synced, and that is the contact file in Outlook.

I also verified that the "Force Outlook -> phone" is selected for the sync.

I am still unable to sync all the contacts from my Outlook into the phone itself.

It looks like all of my Outlook contacts and contact info are making it successfully into MyPhoneExplorer desktop application. (Though I am still seeing duplicates as mentioned before.) But not into the phone itself.

I appreciate you assistance. Thank you very much.

Bill

If the contacts are shown in MyPhoneExplorer then they are also saved on the phone. maybe you did sync them into a wrong contact account or you have set up a filter in the contact view on the phone
